When I was at Headway the other day we did an activity that was connected to celebrations that we have. We talked in our groups about celebrations that are held around the world. Many were quite unusual but I can’t think of an example now. We were asked to create a new event that we could celebrate. I suggested celebrating our new lives after our brain injury which everyone liked. I feel like it is right to celebrate this day rather than look back at it and think about all the bad things that happened to us. The lady running the session asked everyone when their ‘new life’ day would be. Everyone knew their own date. This goes to show that this date will never be forgotten, the day our lives changed forever. People who have a cardiac arrest celebrate the day they were reborn. I did it last year. Did lots of things that took my mind off a day I didn’t want to remember. Now it is a day to be positive and not look back at what happened but to look forward to a positive future.

My brother recommended I might like this web site.
He was once entirely right. This publish actually made my day.
You cann’t consider simply how a lot time I had spent for this information! Thank you!
Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to know so much about
this, like you wrote the guide in it or something.
I believe that you could do with a few % to pressure the message house a little bit,
however other than that, that is wonderful blog.
A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
