I guess this is something that we are all trying to do at the moment. It can be hard to do when everything around you is changing, and not in a good way. I have recently wrote about trying to seize the day. I had this urge to do everything and not putting anything off. The problem is that in the world now we can’t do anything. There is nothing there to be seized. This can be hard for me as I really want to do everything. The last few weeks have been hard but I, at the moment are staying positive. I need to find new things that I want to do now that are based around the home. They won’t so interesting or exciting as the things outside the home but hopefully, next year everything will be normal again. Staying positive is hard as you get bombarded everyday with negative information. I am a bit of a news junkie and always have the news on. I have been told that you should only watch or listen to the news the same amount of time that you usually do, which for me would be all the time. But it is so depressing at the moment and even I don’t want to watch it. Of course being stuck at home means that you watch a lot more TV. I have noticed that I try to listen to the radio more. I have the radio on during the day now I am WFH which is nice but of course this usually includes a news update every hour. At the moment I am listening to a new radio channel which focuses on classical music. I think I may have written about this before, my new appreciation of classical music. I find it easy to listen to and doesn’t remind you of what is going on around you. It can be dramatic and gentle to listen to. I guess it is good to listen to in the evening as it can be relaxing. It can take you away from the negative and helps you to stay positive.
