Well it has been four years now and a lot of things have happened, good and bad. In the beginning I didn’t really understand what was going on but when I did then the bad things began to happen. Another thing that I have learnt over the last couple of years is to not dwell on the bad things just focus on and remember the good things. My sister aways says that there is no use looking at the past as there is nothing you can do to change it, which is true. But I have been told that you can learn from your past and do things differently. That is where the good things come into play. Instead of looking back and remembering bad memories, which is hard to do. I now focus on making good memories. I see a couple of ladies who are new to Headway and think, was I like them three years ago. I want to talk to them and reassure them that life does get better. I want to be positive today and remember the good things that I have done and have happend to me, such as…

- Having more confidence
- Reading a book again
- Going back to work
- Cooking my dinner
- Going to Headway
- Driving again
- Joing the gym
- Arrange CPR training
- Writing my blog
I know these things probably sound quite simple and un-important but they are very important things to me. There are probably lots more but they are all I can remember at the moment. Of course there is an equal number of bad thing but I think I should accept them and try to move on. I won’t write a list of these, I just wanted to remember the good things.
